Area Banker Receives State Banking Diploma

Millersburg, Ohio – Wendy Brown, Electronic Banking Representative of The Commercial & Savings Bank, recently completed her second year of study to graduate from the 50th annual Harry Blythe School of Banking sponsored by the Ohio Bankers League.

Brown was among 42 banker-students who completed the final course of study at a week-long session held September 25 – 29, 2005. The school, designed as a professional development program, offers bankers an opportunity to enhance their skills in all areas of bank operations and management.

Brown began her career at CSB in 1994 as a telephone receptionist and bookkeeper and currently oversees the Bank’s electronic banking services, which include Internet and phone banking as well as cash management services for business customers. She is also responsible for the development and administration of deposit products on the Bank’s software system.

Brown resides in Millersburg with her husband Scott and their two children. She serves as a board member for the Holmes County Antique Festival, is active in the Millersburg Cub Scout program and attends Faith Bible Church. Brown can be reached at 330-763-2870.
