The Commercial & Savings Bank Announces 2008 College Scholarship Program

The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB) announces that it is again offering college scholarships to graduating seniors from Garaway, Hiland, Triway and West Holmes High Schools. CSB has been awarding scholarships since 1990 and is pleased to be able to continue this tradition.

CSB awards one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each school. The scholarship is not tied to a specific college and awards are based on scholastic record, personal achievement and financial need.

“Since the inception of our scholarship program, CSB has awarded over $50,000 to local high school seniors to help with their continuing education,” stated Rick L. Ginther, President of CSB.

The 2008 scholarship applications for Garaway, Hiland and Triway schools are available through each of the school’s respective guidance departments. Applications for West Holmes High School are available through Holmes County Education Foundation. To be considered for this year’s award, students need to contact these designated offices as deadlines for the applications may vary.
