CSB President Elected to Ohio Bankers League Board
John J. Limbert, President and CEO of The Commercial and Savings Bank, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Ohio Bankers League, based in Columbus, Ohio. Limbert will serve a two-year term through December 31, 2006.
Comprised of bank executives from across the state and elected by OBL member financial institutions, the OBL Board of Directors is the governing body for the organization. Board members have the authority and the responsibility to exercise the powers vested in the non-profit corporation, and they play a critical role in setting the association’s agenda as well as establishing legislative and regulatory priorities for the banking industry.
The OBL provides professional education, collective buying, communications,
and governmental services to its members. Among its membership are 271
of the state’s 308 commercial and savings banks.
