"Heartbleed" in the News - You may have read or heard about the recently announced "Heartbleed" vulnerability for the Internet community. CSB’s website, internet banking and mobile applications are secure and have not been affected. However, if you use the same password for multiple internet applications, including your CSB internet banking, we strongly advise you to change your CSB password to a unique password used only for CSB internet banking. It would be best to use a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers. You may also want to refer to heartbleed.com for more information about the “Heartbleed” internet vulnerability. As companies patch their systems to protect from this vulnerability, they may request that you change your password and/or update your security questions. We highly recommend you follow their instructions, keeping in mind that no legitimate business would ask you to provide your password to them. Your password should be known only by you.

Hummel & Miller Promoted at CSB
Rick L. Ginther, President and CEO of The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB) recently announced two promotions at the Bank. Jason Hummel has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lender while Melissa Miller has been promoted to Assistant Cashier, Banking Center Manager.
Hummel joined the Bank in 2005 as a commercial lender. He will continue to serve in that capacity, concentrating on serving the Bank’s commercial, small business and agricultural customers. Hummel is a graduate of Hiland High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Marietta College. Hummel resides in Berlin with his wife Dawn and their two children.
Miller joined CSB in 2004, where she entered the Bank’s extensive
12-month management-training program. In 2006, she was named manager of
the Winesburg Banking Center. She will continue in that role today, focusing
on developing customer relationships in the Winesburg area. Miller is
a graduate of Hiland High School and Urbana University, where she received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She resides in
“Jason and Missy have displayed dedication and enthusiasm in helping customers reach their financial goals and have been a great addition to the CSB team,” stated Ginther.
