Commercial & Savings Bank Serves as Corporate Sponsor
to Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club Football Teams
The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB) has had a long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities we serve. Continuing that tradition in Orrville, the Bank has become the sole corporate sponsor of the Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club’s (OABGC) new 5th & 6th grade football teams. In addition, CSB will be donating $50 to the OABGC for each new checking account that is opened at either of its two Orrville banking centers through the end of the year.
“We have been a supporter of the Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club since we first entered the Orrville market in 2007,” stated Rick Ginther, President & CEO of CSB. “They do an excellent job of serving the youth of the area. With the opening of our second Orrville banking center on High Street, we wanted to step up to the plate. When we found out the Club was hoping to start a football team for 5th and 6th graders, we offered to be the sole corporate sponsor.”
Kevin Platz, Director of the OABGC stated, “We are grateful for CSB’s generosity in providing the funds to help us start our football program. We had so much interest from the kids that we have two teams – OABGC Black & OABGC Red.”
CSB currently has a banking center at 461 Wadsworth Road (SR 57) in Orrville and is scheduled to open at a second location at 330 West High Street in early October. Current CSB Orrville staff members Betty Lyon and Colby Chamberlin will continue in their current roles while also overseeing the new High Street banking center. Lyon will manage both CSB Orrville locations and Chamberlin will continue to be responsible for generating and expanding commercial relationships in the Orrville market.
CSB has been an independent community bank since 1879 and is owned by
its holding company, CSB Bancorp, Inc. (CSBB.OB). Headquartered in Millersburg,
Ohio, CSB will have 14 banking centers in Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, and
Wayne counties and Trust offices located in Millersburg and Wooster, Ohio,
employing a staff of 150. CSB is an equal housing lender and member FDIC.
