Eddie Steiner, Chief Executive Officer of The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB), the wholly owned banking subsidiary of CSB Bancorp, Inc. (OTC ID: CSBB), has announced the promotion of Ashley Vaughn to Vice President, Chief Operations Officer. Vaughn most recently served as Vice President, Senior Operations Officer.
Vaughn has held several positions of increasing responsibility at CSB, including her most recent role as Vice President, Senior Operations Officer, in which she played a key part in supporting the teams and processes central to the bank’s daily operations.
“Ashley has been instrumental to the strength of our operations, and this promotion reflects the confidence our entire team has in her leadership,” Steiner said. “Her deep operational expertise and committed, people-first approach make her exactly the right person to lead these important functions as CSB continues to grow.”
In her new role, Vaughn will help lead the bank’s overall operating environment — including Wealth Management, Bank and Loan Operations, and the Customer Service Center — in addition to leading CSB’s Cash Management, Marketing, and Public Relations efforts. Bringing these functions together under her leadership reinforces the bank’s commitment to operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience.
The promotion is part of a planned transition of operational leadership at the bank. Brett Gallion, who has served as President, Chief Operations & Chief Information Officer, will move into the role of President, Chief Information Officer. In this capacity, Gallion continues to help guide the bank’s overall strategic direction and long-term growth, while leading its information systems and technology strategy and the investments that support CSB’s customers and communities. Vaughn reports to Gallion in her new capacity.

Vaughn recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, one of the nation’s most respected banking education programs.
Active in the Holmes County community, Vaughn serves on the board of the Holmes County Park District and volunteers with various local organizations. She lives in Millersburg with her husband and three children.
